The NSMC locates in the district of China Meteorological Administration in the metropolitan area in north west of Beijing, where landmark buildings and public places can be found as the National Library, the Capital Sports Stadium, the Bamboo Park, the campus of University of the Minority Nationalities. Hubei Hotel, Hotel Nikko New Century Beijing, and Shenzhou International Hotel Beijing are around and conveniently reached. There are several transportation options to travel to NSMC.
Take Beijing Subway, you should destine for the National Library Station of subway Line 4 to reach the CMA. When you arrive, get out of the station by Exit B, walk about 200 meters straight north along the Zhongguancun South Street, you'll find the main entrance of CMA by the traffic light pole.
At T3 terminal, take airport shuttle bus Line 4 and get off at the Friendship Hotel (the 9th stop). From there, the nearest subway station, the Renmin University (or People's University) Station, is about 170 meters away. Take subway Line 4 to the National Library (ref. Transportation by subway).
The Airport is 40km away from the city. Transportation to CMA by taxi costs around 110-120 yuan RMB.
